Wednesday Night, Corona Del Mar
A cozy place to unwind on Wednesday night in the O.C? Well for an intimate setting with a little live music, fireplace, excellent service, great drinks and food... (and of coarse a couple of HD flat-panels to watch the game) The Landmark Steakhouse is my favorite mid-week place to relax.
Corona Del Mar is a gorgeous little town nestled between Newport Beach and Laguna Beach, hosting several great restaurants and live entertainment it is also just minutes from Fashion Island and the nearby hotels.
Having been there before we chose this place to take one of my girlfriend's out for her birthday. With bottles of chilled wine on the table, an ample selection of appetizers and all of us surrounded by cozy wood and brown leather, this venue was perfect for conversation and celebration.
Well heeled locals filtered in at all hours to catch some basketball and live music (blues and 70's covers that night), people giving high-fives and a little bit of community catch-up making the place feel friendly and warm.
The Landmark Steakhouse also hosts an outdoor patio covered in tiny lights and heaters for the winter. I highly recommend this place for its personable elegant atmosphere, great staff, food and entertainment. The Landmark Steakhouse will also host private parties of up to 60 people, live entertainment Wednesdays and Fridays.
