Yesterday I went to Fashion Island to check out the holiday sales.  Do not waste your times.  The sales are not that great.  I am not sure what sales the newspapers are reporting on, however there was nothing fantastic.  However I did notice that the Christmas tree had been taken down.

Visitors and residents of Newport Beach are being put on alert to pay their parking tickets.  Chronic parking ticket violators (there is a title for you) will be towed if they have accumulated in excess of five unpaid tickets.

If you think the parking ticket is expensive, wait until you have to pay impound and towing fees.  Tickets that go unpaid tickets for more than a year will be reported to DMV.  ...

Nicholas Cage was awoken around 1 a.m. to find an intruder in his home.  If this was not strange enough, the intruder was naked but for one of Cage's jackets.  Cage escorted him into the backyard until the police arrived.

Balboa Island and Pennisula is one of the great wonders of Newport Beach.  Both areas front the water.  The Pennisula has the ocean on one side and the Harbor on the inland side.  The Island is on the Harbor.  They both have plenty to offer both visitors and residents.

I am sitting in Ottawa, Canada home of the Ottawa Senators as I write this story.  Apparently the Stanley Cup had a grand tour of Southern California yesterday. 

Poor Ottawa, they lost the cup.  The city is alive with posters and other memorabilia that the Senators were in the playoffs.  Every car has a bumper sticker saying "GO SENS GO"
