A few years ago the City of Newport Beach painted their police cars white. It was in keeping with the coastal theme. Now that time has passed it has been decided that white is not professional for a police car-so for $20,000 they are painting the cars back to black.

Call me next time you decided to spend money wastefully. You make a decision stick with it.

The red bathing suits and swim caps are a sign that summer has officially arrived in Newport Beach and the Junior Lifeguard Program is busting with young swimmers and lifeguards to be. This past week a local bank in Corona del Mar was robber.  The thief went into the bank and told the teller he had a bomb.  I am not sure how much money he received given his threat, but police did not have to go far to find him.  The robber must have lost his getaway car or never thought about that part of bank robbing.  Police found the bank ...

Yesterday I went to Fashion Island to check out the holiday sales.  Do not waste your times.  The sales are not that great.  I am not sure what sales the newspapers are reporting on, however there was nothing fantastic.  However I did notice that the Christmas tree had been taken down.

Visitors and residents of Newport Beach are being put on alert to pay their parking tickets.  Chronic parking ticket violators (there is a title for you) will be towed if they have accumulated in excess of five unpaid tickets.

If you think the parking ticket is expensive, wait until you have to pay impound and towing fees.  Tickets that go unpaid tickets for more than a year will be reported to DMV.  ...

Balboa Island and Pennisula is one of the great wonders of Newport Beach.  Both areas front the water.  The Pennisula has the ocean on one side and the Harbor on the inland side.  The Island is on the Harbor.  They both have plenty to offer both visitors and residents.
