Hey Hey it's the Monkees
Fashion Island is kicking off it's summer concert series with Micky Dolenz of the Monkees. As I child I loved watching the Monkees on television. It will be interesting to see if it is still the same.
The summer concert series has been a staple at Fashion Island since 1967. You can purchase preferred seats for $20 or just grab an empty chair which are on a first come first serve basis.
There are numerous restaurants at Fashion Island so you have the choice of grabbing takeout, or selecting a meal from one of the restaurants that will set up a booth in the area or bring your own picnic. This is truly a fun way to spend a summer evening.
Ricky Nelson is scheduled to appear later in the summer.
