Super Bowl XLI in Long Beach at the Gaslamp Restaurant & Bar

As the Bears and Colts prepare to duke it out at Super Bowl XLI tomorrow, February 4, taverns and eateries all over Long Beach will be offering specials to commemorate the event. Local favorites such as the 49'rs Tavern, Belmont Station, Buster's Beach House, Limerick's Irish Pub, Domenico's, Jake's Wing Company, Liquid Lounge, and many others have planned to delight football enthusiasts with food and drink specials, customized menus, and television feeds of the game.
While there are many options from which to choose, my recommendation is the Gaslamp Restaurant and Bar located at 6251 E. Pacific Coast Highway. The Gaslamp will be opening its doors at 2:00pm.
This venue is ideal for moderate to large groups who want to enjoy the game, not merely the scene. Newer than other Long Beach hot spots, the Gaslamp is less likely to be as overcrowded as the city's more traditional watering holes. And the Gaslamp doesn't skimp on amenities or space. The restaurant offers two bars, well-placed high definition and plasma TVs for unobstructed viewing, and a bevy of food and drink specials that will be available throughout the game.
