Get Out and Enjoy the Fresh Air in Huntington Beach
The forecast is calling for another gorgeous weekend here in Huntington Beach and if you lucky enough to be able to get out and enjoy it I suggest going for a stroll down the world famous pier. At 1,853 feet, it is actually the longest municipal pier on the west coast. Although it has been destroyed three times since 1912, it now made of reinforced concrete and built to withstand just about anything mother nature can throw this way. You'll enjoy a birds-eye view of surfers catching waves down below at one of Orange Countys favorite surf spots, Or see what the local fishermen are catching.

Once you reach the end of the pier you might notice you've worked up quite an appetite, luckily, the friendly staff at Rubys will be waiting to greet you. This 40's style diner offers unmatched views of the ocean, and if you're there at the right time, breathtaking sunsets. Rubys serves up favorites such as the flavorful Hickory burger with shoestring fries. Dont forget to save room for dessert. Warm apple pie, or a thick shake are the perfect ending to any meal. And with14 unique shake flavors there's is sure to be something to please even the pickiest diner. If a full meal isnt your thing the walk-up window located on the front of the building is a great place to grab a quick snack.
Metered parking is available along Main Street and PCH. Several parking lots are also available between PCH and the beach. Rubys validates parking for the garage located on the north side of Walnut at Main.
