RELAX AND LISTEN
There are radio stations in the San Francisco Bay Area, which includes Foster City area, that are enjoyable to listen to while driving your car. Then, there are stations that are so bad that you wonder how they remain on the air.
Of course, you have the same thing in every city that you travel to, but woudn't it be easier to know where the radio stations you like are located on the dial, before you arrive in the Bay Area?
SOFT-MUSIC: 102.1-FM is a classical music station. It seems to be a very enjoyable station, the classical music seems to make you relax.
NEWS: 740-AM has News 24hrs. and traffic reports. This is the station to go to if your stuck in traffic, or if there's breaking news in the area or nationally.
NEWS and COMMENTARY: 810-AM has news 24hrs., traffic advisery on the hour, and talk shows. Seems to be very open and not political.
WESTERN MUSIC: 95.7-FM is a brand new western station. It gets your foot a-tapping.
CONSERVATIVE STATION: 650-AM It is a very conservative station. Some of the comments that are made can get your blood to boil.
These are five stations that I listen to when traveling around the Bay Area. For example, if I am in heavy traffic, I will listen to classic music, it quiets my nerves; if the traffic is moving fast, or if there is no traffic and I am traveling late at night, I will listen to Western Music, it peps me up and keeps me awake.
Where there is heavy traffic and I'm stuck in it and it is moving very slowly, I will turn to 740 AM(CBS Radio) and listen to the area news and traffic reports.
If I am bored and want a good laugh, I would listen to KSFO(650-AM) the political station and try to see if can digest what they are trying to say.
Therefore, if you are in the San Francisco Bay Area, I would recommend these radio stations to listen to. There are other stations too, but these stations seem the best to me.
