Belmont Shores Christmas Parade



Belmont Shores is a quaint neighborhood in Long Beach.  To the localss, 2nd street is the hub of all the activities.  There are some great restaurants and boutiques that are worth a visit.

Santa Claus is Coming to Town



Santa is coming to South Coast Plaza on November 16th at 4 p.m.  He is slightly hungry as with the high cost of gas the food train has not been able to make it to the North Pole.  He will be arriving with an ensemble of elves at the Jewelry Court.

All the children who have been good can join him for a parade.

Rockett's Radio City Christmas Spectular



New York City at Christmas is a magical place to be.  There is Times Square all lit up, Rockerfeller skating rink and the Rocketts.  

If you cannot make it to New York for Christmas or do not want to put on your galoshes and gloves you are in luck.  The Rocketts are coming to Segerstrom Hall from December 13-30 to put on their dazzling show.

Tickets range from $25-$75.

Cirque de Soleil Coming to Town



Montreal, Canada's Cirque de Soliel will be coming to town on November 9th under the big tent.  Cirque de Soliel is the circus for adults, with artists that can contort their bodies in more poses than offerered in a yoga class.

Haunted House



St. Joachim Church on Orange Ave. will be hosting a haunted house for children in their gymnasium, on Friday October 26 from 8-11 p.m.

Hot cider and pizza will be served.  Non-church members are more than welcome.  This is a wonderful church that does alot for the community.

Wicked at the Pantages Theater



Wicked, the Broadway Musical is based on Gregory Maguire's book. The musical tells the story of the two witches, Glinda the Good witch of the East,  who is oh so Popular and Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West, who is as green and steamed as an artichoke.

The Pug dog rescue will be hosting a fest for dogs this weekend.  Dogs of all sizes and breeeds are welcome to come wag their tails and bark away at the moon.
