Last year I discovered a new perfume, Jo Malone. The lady behind the perfume has an interesting story-apparently she was working in a spa and as Christmas presents for her favorite clients she put together some perfumes and gave them out as presents. One client liked her perfume so much she asked for 50 sets for guests at a dinner party. Well the rest is history.

Only in Beverly Hills do they offer spa treatments that are food based. You can choose between Roses and Chocolate, Champagne, Cavier, Pumpkin Pie or Placenta Protein facials. Bare Escentuals a San Fransisco based make up line has opened a new boutique in South Coast Plaza. The line is known for it's powdered based makeup and foundations. In addition to makeup the store also carries scrubs and beauty products.

Salon CG promotes itself as a spa salon. I was in the neighborhood and stopped in for a pedicure. This one would be a one time experience at this salon. Do you ever sit down somewhere and think leave, run for the hills. That is what my instincts were telling me and I should have listened.
