Sarah Brightman will be playing at the Honda Center in Anaheim this Friday December 19th. Her concert Symphony promises to be a spectacular sound and light show. Tonight The Grove in LA will be lighting their Christmas Tree at 7:30 p.m. I realize that LA is not Orange County and yes this means getting on the 405 and driving. The OC Fair has opened today with BB King kicking off with a performance tonight. The theme of this years fair is Say Cheese. The fair will run until August 3rd. and is open noon to midnight Tuesday through Sunday. Admission to the fair is $9.00 for adults and $5 for children 6 thru 12.

The Sawdust Festival is an annual arts and crafts festival that has found its home in Laguna Beach for the past 40 years. Local artists display their photography, paintings, jewelry and crafts. For those that are bitten by the creativity bug-they can participate in workshops. The festival has daily entertainment.

Costa Mesa's Fish Fry is in full swing for another weekend of carnival fun and fried fish. The Fish Fry serves up rides and games for children along with carnival food. What makes it different is the fried fish. This has been a city tradition for over 50 years-so visit Lion's Park for a free weekend of fun.

The Banff film festival is all about outdoor spoors. This is an oppurtunity to watch flicks on outdoor adventures filmed in unique locations. OCC will playing the top films for the festival on March 19 at 7 p.m. at OCC Robert Moore Theater.
