Surf City Centennial
Huntington Beach is home to many of the Beach Boy songs, surfing and volleyball tournaments. Over the past few years there has been a rivalry been Huntington Beach and Santa Cruz as to which city is the original Surf City. With a population of about 200,000 it has grown into a major tourist destination. On February 17th the city will be celebrating its centennial. with a pier plaza ceremony. While the water may be too cool to take a dip in come out and enjoy the fun.
