The Goat Hill Tavern is a Costa Mesa icon. The tavern is a no-frill sort of place with sawdust on the floor, 141 beers on tab and peanutes at the bar; yes you can throw the shells on the floor. For those that are looking to have some fun , they have a pool table, shuffleboard and foosball.
It came to be the Goat Hill tavern in the early 80's and since then has become a neighborhood bar. Should you choose to go and start sampling any one of the 141 bars, be aware the bar is also a favorite of the Costa Mesa police department.
