Orange County Gas Prices Hit Record High



According the AAA of Southern California the average price of gas is $3.54 in Orange County up .54 cents from a month ago.  I am not sure where AAA is purchasing their gas from the cheapest I have seen gas is still probabaly a nickle higher.  What is astonishing to me is the our learned President is unaware that gas prices are so high.  The man is from the state ...

Banff Film Festival movies to play at OCC



The Banff film festival is all about outdoor spoors.  This is an oppurtunity to watch flicks on outdoor adventures filmed in unique locations.  OCC will playing the top films for  the festival on March 19 at 7 p.m. at OCC Robert Moore Theater.

Orange County Largest Business Mixer



The Orange County Fairgrounds is sponsoring the 5th annual Orange County Mixer that combines the networking power of Orange County area chambers of commerce and business organizations. Professional representing hundreds of industries and companies will be there ready to network.

The event is being hosted on Thursday March 13 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.  Entrance fee is $20 per person.

Easter Bunny has Hopped into Town



Children can get their pictures taked with the Easter bunny from now until March 22 at the Carousel Court or Macy's Home Store Wing at South Coast Plaza.  The bunny will be visiting the mall until March 22.

Sunday memorial service planned for punk singer



Services are planned for this Sunday at 4 p.m. for Michael Conley, a Costa Mesa bar and owner and frontman for the 1980's band MIA.  Mr. Conley died last week.  He was found dead Thursday in a motel parking lot.
