Mansoor??? Bever??? Musical Mayors in Costa Mesa
The strangest thing happened the other day at City Hall. We traded Mayors, Mansoor for Bever. I am not quite sure how this happened-that the mayor decided to just give up his seat. Bever is Mansoor's buddy and shares his views so I am uncertain as to the benefit to a new mayor.
Mansoor has touted the illegal immigration issue for many months now deeply dividing the city on whether or not illegal immigrants should be deported. He sanctions the police stopping anyone of color and asking for identification and deporting those stopped for riding their bicycle on the wrong side of the road.
The mayor should be concerned about the pot holes in our city and there are plenty. Another brillant resolution of city hall was to place a large boulder in a park so that team sports could not be played. Turned out that the residents were complaining about noise. If you move next to a park, one should expect noise.
Maybe Mansoor and Bever will be happy when the city is comprised of overweight people who are happy to live in silence.
