Wholesome Choice Market in Irvine

Walking into Wholesome Market can be described as going to a Turkish bazaar.  The store has a little bit of everything, is always crowded and smells delicious when you first walk in.  Wholesome Market is a Persian grocery store.  I have never been to Iran, so I am not familiar with a traditional Persian grocery store, but if this is it it is great.

Your nose is the first sense to be ...

U2 3D

U2 has been my favorite band for years, with one short disappointment years ago.  I was an undergraduate student many years ago when I first heard their music.  Sitting in our coffee shop I still remember telling a friend I really liked U2 and he said the same to me.  The server thought we were cute, until I explained to him that it was a band.  Then MTV came along ...

Mitsuwa

Mitsuwa is a grocery store unlike any store you have visited before.  You may wonder why I am sending you to a grocery store.  Does not really seem like a tourist attraction to you.  Mitsuwa is a Japanese grocery store.

Navigating the store can be slightly confusing and intimidating.  The first time I visited it, was with my cookbook in hand.  I was making Vietanmese food and knew they would have ...
