Year of the Bad Behavior
If you are a young star and nothing much is happening in your life except for partying this was the year to be arrested for a DUI. Lohan, Hilton and Richie can all lay claim to fame to this walk of shame. It seems that Mischa Barton was feeling left out and needed her name in the headlines before the year ended for a DUI arrest.
Congratulations Barton. Arrested for driving under the suspicion of alcohol. For all their wealth these young partyers do not have the common sense to hire a limo or take a cab. But maybe Hollywood starlets do not take cabs. Just drive DUI and that will guarantee you some publicity.
Fortunatly none of the above mentioned have injured anyone during their driving episodes. However the media and fashion industry are to blame. Everytime someone from Hollywood engages in bad behavior it increases their publicity and it seems that they are rewarded with more invitations to promotional events and advertising contracts.
Is this who you want your children idolizing? Some young brainless twit who just likes to party and has no consideration for the safety of others.
2008 should be Year of the Ignore. Engage in bad behavior and do not except to see your name or photo anywhere except of for a court docket or mug shot.
