Holiday Travelling Trips
This time of the year we would probably all welcome some tips to helping us travel easier. I do not have a magic solution for this. As you already know a lot of the travelling is out of our control. We cannot stop airports from backing up, planes from being overcrowded and gas prices from sky rocketing. Athough I would suggest filling up your car before Christmas. I have a theory on the gas prices.
Our economy is in the hole right now. Gas is one of the the commodities that we need to purchase. As such the prices have been reduced in an effort to encourage us to spend our money elsewhere. This week I saved $3.00 on gas from last week. Not a great savings-I was just estatic I kept my bill at below $50-yes I drive a sedan and yes I live in California. Once Christmas is over and our spending is not so desperate -I predict gas prices will start soaring once again. P.S. I did not think the price came down that much.
Anyway to help you save some money-if you are travelling and have a car rental or hotel reservation call them and see what specials or promotions are going on. For my hotel they threw in parking-at $15 a night for 6 nights that is almost $100 back in my pocket.
