Merry Christmas Charlie Brown
There is a home at the corner of Wilson and Santa Ana in Eastside Costa Mesa that lights up the block each Christmas. Charlie Brown and the peanut gang are there to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas.
The tradition started in 1968 when the 14 year old son of the homeowner was into the Charlie Brown rage. He enjoyed tinkering and built a Charlie Brown scene. As the years went on he added to the collection and the family moved away. However the tradition is still continued by the original family.
Each Christmas Charlie Brown wishes the neighborhood a Merry Christmas. There is apple cider and candy canes for all. As the countdown to Christmas begins Santa will be there to listen to the children tell him what they want for Christmas.
