Hard to Believe, Christmas Tree has Arrived



South Coast Plaza had its Christmas tree delivered yesterday.  All 96 feet of it.  I am not sure what the mall will be doing with a Christmas tree for the next month.  The tree lighting ceremony will occur on November 26th.

Who knows, maybe the tree will be trick or treating.  What happened to Haloween and Thanksgiving?  Do we not get a chance to celebrate those holidays first, before launching into ...

Haunted House



St. Joachim Church on Orange Ave. will be hosting a haunted house for children in their gymnasium, on Friday October 26 from 8-11 p.m.

Hot cider and pizza will be served.  Non-church members are more than welcome.  This is a wonderful church that does alot for the community.

Pour on the maple syrup while wearing a costume



Plum's restaurant is catering a costume pancake breakfast.  Children can enjoy their pancakes, while swinging from the trees with Curious George or picking strawberries with Strawberry Shortcake.  Batman and Robin will also be there, along with other characters.
