40th Birthday Bash at South Coast Plaza
South Coast Plaza is the premiere shopping mall in Southern California. Anchored by Bloomingdales, Norstom and Sak's Fifth Avenue it also has a number of designer boutiques including, Chanel, Fendi, Ferragamo and Burberry. If you prefer a more affordable line of clothing you can visit two H & M stores, Zara or J. Crew.
This year the mall turns 40. In celebration of the mall's continued success the Segerstroms are throwing a month long birthday bash from October 4-29th. The theme of the party is Bella Italia. In the days leading up to October 4th the Sistene Chapel will be recreated with flowers outside the mall. This should be quite a site. There will also be an exposition of Italian fashion, art, cinema and food ina collaboration with the Italian Trade Commission.
