Surfs Up for Adults
Truth be told, my secret fantasy is to have lived the life of Gidget at the Beach. I adore everything that the surf culture has to offer. Endless summers, bonfires, lazing on the beach and floating in the waves.
Growing up in Canada, I remember having a friend who applied to Pepperdine School of Law. When the catologue arrived in the mail I was mesmerized by the ocean views. Who could have guessed life could be so good.
I eventually moved to Southern California and live close to the beach. In the summer I am in the water a few times a week and visit the beach daily. I enjoy the solitude of the mornings watching the surfers catch their waves. For as long as I have lived here I have never learnt to surf. I talk about it all the time.
