This March the Famous Flower Fields Will Be in Full Bloom
If you have ever visited Carlsbad during the springtime, you may have noticed a bright patch of contrasting colors on the hills behind the Carlsbad Premium Outlets. These flowers comprise Carlsbad’s famous Flower Fields. Every year, from March 3-May 13th, the fields are open to the public for tours. Visitors will marvel at the display of bright-colored and fragrant blooms, and it is advised that you bring a camera to catch the beauty on film. This year, one will have the added enjoyment of two new features: A Sweet Pea maze and a variety of Paul Ecke Poinsettias. Instead of a flower bouquet on Valentine’s Day, this year, give your special someone a trip to the Flower Fields. I enjoy the fields every year and I know that you will too.
