A little about me and my new nickname: belmontblogger1. I moved to Belmont almost 2 years ago after residing for most of my life in Marin County. Belmont was the closest thing I could find to Marin in ambiance and weather. I am NOT a big city girl. SF was not an option for me. But CT and I work in the computer industry and so to Silicon Valley we did migrate to mix and mingle with our geeky brethren. I'm a foodie. Diets are not for me. Most of my posts will be about food. I'm half Japanese so I like to pretend I know things about Japanese food. Mostly all I know is what I like. I'm also a people watcher...so sometimes you'll get to see snippets of people watching commentary as well. I'm also a snob sometimes. Take that as you'd like. However, as being a child of food service (Dad --->French Chef = Child ---->food service slave) I am appreciative of people in the food industry and usually a generous tipper (to the chagrin of CT at times). I just had jaw surgery to correct my sleep apnea, so it's pretty much guaranteed that as I gain more and more eating ability, I will get out more and more which translates to many a blog post.
