Sauce, Wine Brothers, & Wildflower make for good times
The other night a few of the girls from my mom's group and I had a Mom's Night Out and let me tell you, we had a great time. We met at Sauce, over on Oracle and Ina and had dinner. I love the salads there but opted for the chicken and broccoli pasta and it was delish. The other girls had pizza and salad. I think I'd like to try the Potato Pizza next time. It looked great. And yes, I said potato, as in Irish Potato Famine.
After achieving fully bellies we headed over to Wine Brothers and had fun tasting wine and laughing with Brandi, our pourer/server. She is extremely knowledgeable in the wine area and is a wonderful hostess. Every Thursday Wine Brothers changes out their wines available for tasting. I ended up with a glass of Green and Red Zinfandel and I really enjoyed it. We also tasting a wine that smelled like coffee beans --- interesting.
After some good jokes, good laughs, and good wine and that coffee bean smell in mind we headed over to Wildflower and indulged in their fabulous desserts and some coffee. And no, I beg your pardon, I did not finish mine. I took 1/2 of my Chocoholic dessert home to my husband and it was gone within seconds. Although, I will admit the next day I wished I had hid it under the car seat and saved it for myself. I guess there's always next month's Mom's Night Out...
