Tucson Day Trip - See Virtuoso Musician Tim Wiedenkeller at Hacienda Corona

Tim Wiedenkeller & Hacienda Corona

Get away from Tucson this Saturday (23rd of June) where the prediction for temps is 104/75. Go to the Nogales area, where the prediction is 99, cooling down to 66 in the evening. You'll be glad you did, for more reasons than weather, if you get to the Hacienda Corona de Guevavi, where you can see a great musician, Tim Wiedenkeller.

Tim will be working his musical magic with his banjo, guitar, mandolin, the Sevan (his own invention; a 7-string banjo/guitar hybrid), and his vocals. Expect to be dazzled, amazed, and thoroughly entertained as this musical genius takes you through song after song in diverse genres: love songs, bluegrass, jazz, and folk. Mostly the songs are Tim's own compositions, and his covers are such unique arrangements that they truly become his own.Tim's very popular Tucson song, The New Old Pueblo, will be part of his program.

He will also include 1 or 2 of his original classical banjo compositions. Tim has recorded a full CD, Milagros, of this spectacular music, and the CD is getting rave reviews on National Public Radio.

Joining Tim on stage will be Rob Paulus, virtuoso bassist and violinist; Porongui, an exciting percussionist from Brazil; and Debbie Daly, outstanding harmony vocalist.

Visit Tim's Web site to learn more about this incredible musician.

The Hacienda Corona, once part of a large ranch, is 36 acres of beautiful land turned into a bed & breakfast inn.
