The Hilton's Cool Room Packages
I have always like Hilton Hotels. I stayed in them often when I was on the road for work and we still stay at them (among others) when on vacation. I was driving on the east side a few days ago and had forgotten there was one over there. It's located at 7600 East Broadway. They are starting renovation this fall (2007) and while that might deter you from wanting to stay there I have to say that in my experience a hotel under renovation usually goes above and beyond to make their guests extra comfortable. I stayed in an "under renovation" Hilton in Palm Beach and they did everything possible to make it a pleasant experience and it was. I won't make you jealous but trust me when I say they were great.
When I was checking out the Hilton site for hotels in October (when my family normally visits) I noticed they have a pretty cool gig going on. They have different room packages (and not just in Tucson):

There are more, too. Doesn't that sound like fun? Maybe I should take a vacation in my own town.
