Neighbor to Old Tucson Studios, previously mentioned in this blog, is a fabulous place to explore the desert and its wildlife. It is the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, a captivating combination of a world-renowned zoo, natural history museum and botanical garden. There are 300 animal species and 1,200 kinds of plants. I haven't been in a while but I'm going to make a trip to the Desert Museum in the next week or two, so stay tuned for an update.
