Not To Miss: The Hold Steady at Plush
Monday, June 4, marks the return to our dusty city by that seminal bar band The Hold Steady. The last time these joyous party-goers passed through Tucson, it was an event not to be missed and still stands out as my favorite show of 2006. So it's an exceedingly good thing that these Brooklyn-via-Minneapolis musicians have decided to honor us with their highly charismatic presence once more, this time bringing those luminaries from Portland, Oregon, Blitzen Trapper, who have been the latest darlings of the music blogs. The show is at Plush, a venue that the K@ and I have yet to visit during our tenure in Tucson but which we are very excited to finally get a chance to visit after a year+ of living here.
