Verde Valley Biking Trails
Sedona has agreed to join a regional committee to build bicycle trails throughout Verde Valley. This committee will focus on assessing current trails, planning for future trails, maintaining consistency, and providing for the entire Verde Valley.
Sedona is promoted as being a healthy and outdoors-oriented place to live, so it's odd that the city isn't more bike-friendly. Over the next few years, more efforts will be focused on increasing bicycle use, including installing bike lanes on 89A in west Sedona. For those interested in trekking around outdoors, keep an eye on Sedona and the rest of the Verde Valley over the next few years for the upcoming and improved biking trails.
