Sky Ranch Lodge
When visiting Sedona, there's one place that has the advantage over all others, and that's the Sky Ranch Lodge. While there are plenty of lodging options that will provide classy and polished accommodations, like the recently-opened Hyatt at the "Y", nothing offers up the experience quite like the Sky Ranch Lodge. Located at the top of Airport Road near the small airport, this lodge provides unique views of the entire city from the top of Airport Mesa. Amazing sunrises and sunsets are all visible from a viewpoint not more than 100 feet from the lodge's entrance.
Once you've driven up the road, an elevation increase over the city of some 400 feet over the rest of the city, you'll arrive at the lodge on your right. The rooms, as well as amenities and natural forested areas, sit on six acres where wildlife can be seen on early-morning hikes. The architecture and landscaping provide a "cottage in the woods" feel, and everything is pristinely manicured. A swimming pool and jacuzzi are available, and the jacuzzi is a great social gathering area for meeting people from all over the world.
For everything offered, the rooms are exceptionally well-priced, starting at just $75/night. Of course, larger and more luxurious rooms are available that include fireplaces, kitchenettes, balconies, private decks, and vaulted ceilings for equally reasonable rates. In addition, they maintain their "pricing integrity", as they call it, which means that they offer the same rates throughout the year without bumping up prices during weekends and holidays.
They're also pet friendly.
