some of the best things
If there are three (trivial) things that I like best I like about living here, they are listed in the following order:
1. Clear skies
2. Beautiful sunsets
3. Good shopping
The first two of which I sometimes overlook and don't appreciate.
Yes, I know, I can mention the great outdoors, but hey it is still 110F out there so I cannot really enjoy hiking this time of the year that much. Being a northwest baby, my past life included more rain than I would want to have in my lifetime. If I was not wet, I was freezing. You can just imagine how glorious the weather here is to me. I love my sunshine and I get a good dose here...probably more than I bargained for, but I do love it.
Speaking of clear skies, I haven't entirely enjoyed the night sky views here as much as I could. From the great star gazing opps to the rare views of meteor showers. I hope I don't miss this one tonight: Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse. According to NASA this eclipse will be "the deepest and longest in 7 years".
Days get so busy that I forget to just look up and enjoy the view. I'm crossing my fingers, and hoping to catch a glimpse tonight.
