Scottsdale traffic restrictions and road closures
Scottsdale Road, between the Loop 101 Pima Freeway and Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard - Restricted to one lane in each direction through Oct. 1. The restriction is part of a months-long project to widen the road to three lanes, from two lanes, in each direction.
Cactus Road improvements
Cactus Road at Hayden Road - Single-lane closures will take place in both directions through Sept. 3.
Cactus Road between 108th Street and Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard - Closed through August.
Cactus Road at 96th Street - Restricted to one lane in each direction through August.
100th Street between Cactus and Charter Oak Drive - Closed through August.
Other major road restrictions
Scottsdale Road between Sweetwater Avenue and Thunderbird Road - Curb lanes closed in both directions Monday through Oct. 3 for work on utility lines.
Pima Road between Via Linda and Via de Ventura - Restricted to one open lane in each direction Sept. 4-17 for curb and gutter construction.
Indian School Road between 75th Street and Miller Road - Westbound curb lane will be closed through Friday for road improvements associated with the construction of a new fire station.
Pima Road, north of Lone Mountain Road - Flaggers will direct traffic from 6 a.m.-3 p.m. through Sunday to permit utility line work.
