Jay Hammond's Biography

I love living in Phoenix! Well, ok, I actually live in Gilbert, a suburb of Phoenix, but I still enjoy access to all the great events, places and people the Valley of the Sun has to offer.

As a freelance writer, I cover a variety of topics from science for kids to business to health to music to sports to restaurants to wine and most things in-between. Basically, I write about whatever makes me go ”Cool! I didn’t know that!” I’ve been a professional writer for more than 16 years, but only moved to the Valley in 1998. Though the Phoenix Blog I hope to introduce and share the many things that make Phoenix a unique and wonderful place to visit or live!

I want to thank all my friends and regular readers who have helped support this blog so far. I hope you will continue to do visit often and looking forward to hearing your suggestions regarding topics to write about.
