Go Girls! Phoenix Mercury Do or Die Tonight



Game 4 of the WNBA Championships is underway tonight at US Airways Center (formerly America West Arena) in downtown Phoenix. Hometown heroines the Phoenix Mercury are hoping to repeated their Game 2 victory over the Detroit Shocks, forcing the championship series into Game 5. Detroit currently lead the best-of-five series, two games to one.

Tip-off was scheduled for 5:30 p.m. local time. If the Mercury win tonight, Game 5 will be played in Detroit at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

Go Mercury... I'm also rooting for Diana Taurasi, Cappie Pondexter, and the rest of the gang to win it all, too, and defeat Bill Laimbeer's evil empire of Bad Boys II.

My mom used to live in Scottsdale and was a fan of the Merc back in the early years, back when they had Michelle Timms and Bridget Pettis.
