Jesus Christ Superstar!
Is Jesus your personal savior? Let me tell you friend, he wants to get to know you. If you died tomorrow, do you know where you'd go?
Me? Probably hell after that terrible imitation of a fire and brimestone preacher, but I did it my way. Not that it makes me feel any better or that the flames of eternal damnation will be any less hot.
But if you want to see something hot, check out the musical Jesus Christ Superstar showing at the Orpheum Theatre from March 20-25. For tickets go to http://www.theaterleague.com/.

"Starring Ted Neeley and Corey Glover, direct from Broadway! JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, the first masterpiece from the legendary writing team of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber, as relevant and as timeless as ever in a magnificent new production."
Orpheum Theater opened in Phoenix in 1929 and was a gem amongst talc (bad geology joke). It was innovative for it's time and expensive costing almost a million dollars to construct. It even had "air conditioning" (read air blown over crushed ice) and was the social hub for all the dandies. Recently, it's been renovated (for about $14 million) and has once again risen to the top like cream.
