Downtown Phoenix Hyatt has prime location and service to back it up

The Downtown Phoenix Hyatt provided a stay I won't soon forget.  The way I judge a hotel is by what I feel as soon as you walk in the main entrance.  At this hotel, you feel like a king.  I was treated royally when I showed up to find swift valet service with a smile and a concierge waiting to take my bags for me.  The front desk service moved things along very quickly and to my surprise the atrium had everyhting from a wonderful restaurant and bar, to a vast lounge area and Einsteins Bagels with a gift shop next door.  I was impressed with the chandeliers in the lobby, but most of all the eagle's nest on the top floor with a 360 degree spinning restaurant high atop downtown where you could circle the city's best views and have an affordable cocktail with your classy dinner.  The rooms were ritzy with a splash of luxuriousness.

The bathrooms had everything you need with a large tub and shower area and beds so comfortable your dog wouldn't mind sleeping next to you in it.  I was dazzled with the great location and view right from your room window of the basketaball arena, capital, baseball field, and downtown skyscrapers. You could walk a few blocks and be sitting at a sporting in US Airways Center, a play at the Orpheum theatre, or a grand concert at the Dodge Theatre within your fingertips.  The rooms were spacious enough where you could sit your luggage down and feel like the room didn't shrink in half.  The TV had all the recording options of being in your own entertainment room at home and I loved the artsy decor from wall-to-wall.  The hotel featured a sensational Sunday brunch on the top floor and daily specials you could sink your teeth into.

The Downtown Hyatt some of the largest conference rooms I have seen, and it would be great for weddings, bar mitzvahs, and business socials.  the hotel is right around the corner from Majerle's, a great sports bar owned by the NBA Suns great, and you'll see a lot of Phoenix celebrities pass through the doors.  Also, there are some dancing hot spots real close like "Burn" to get your feet moving and bring some electricity and nightlife to downtown's classy feel. Overall, I would rate this hotel a 9 out of 10 and will be coming back again shortly for the most desirable location and customer service in the valley.
