Alaska Ocean Festival Today
It's all the groovy of the Girdwood Forest Fair... but it's today and it's here in town. On the Delaney Park Strip (9th & P) in Downtown Anchorage from 12:00 - 10:00 PM you can enjoy music, a bucking salmon, the REI Kayak demo pool, food... the Moose's tooth even has a beer garden at the event. Best of all, it's free (the festival, not the beer)! Last year, in addition to the bucking salmon, our family favorite was the Fish & Game trailer. They had the scoop on "what, when and where" for our family fishing excursions. There's more... but you'll have to come to the event to see it for yourself. I'll post pictures after the event.
