Fur Rondy
It's hard to sit at the computer at this time of year because there is SO much to DO! The Iron Dog (snow machine) race is done, the Yukon Quest (dog sled race) is still in progress, and FUR RONDY time is upon us. We're gaining 5 plus minutes of light a day, over 35 minutes a week and it shows. Everyone has extra energy and needs an outlet. Fur Rondy gives us that place. The one-dog junior sled dog sprint races are this weekend. The carnival (rides) are goin up this week. The event starts on Friday the 27th with dog races, snowshoe softball, and the running of the reindeer all on the schedule. I'll try to keep up with it here.
