Beard Growing Contest Begins Today
Do you have the fastest growing beard in the North? PROVE IT! Today at 11:45 is the official weigh in... er.. shave in at the downtown Westmark Hotel. You can also register for the event at the Great Alaska Beer and Barleywine Festival this weekend, the Rondy office at 400 D street (at any time they are open), and the Alaska Mint. All you have to do is present your clean shaven cheeks at one of these locations as you sign up (registration fee is $10).
