"Cold" Defined Clearly

If you just weren't quite sure what "cold" really means, then Alaska is the place to be right now. We haven't made it above 0 (zero) degrees (F) in over a week. The overnight lows are hitting to -20's (F) in Anchorage. Pipes are freezing all over the state. Fairbanks is reporting -50(F). If you want to know how cold -50(F) is... well. They are experiencing "square tires" right about now. That is when, if your car is outside for any length of time, the bottom of the tire (in contact with the ground) freezes and it takes a bit of driving and fristion to get the darn thing to round out again. Thunk thunk thunk all over town.
