Ice Carving Competition

The Downtown area is hopping, despite the -20F temps from this morning. (We are expecting negative temperatures for a few days). Town Square is especially beautiful with the big blocks of blue ice being formed into scuptures that will brighten the area for many weeks. Here are some "before" pictures.

This second photo is framed by the Christmas Tree that was "lit" at a special ceremony in the beginning of the month. To the right (not pictured), is the Town Square Ice rink, which is being hot mopped and made ready for some New Years Fun.
