Alaska Charity Walk - May 2nd
Join me at the Alaska Visitor Industry Charity Walk!

Anchorage, Alaska on the Park Strip (9th & M)
This early season 5K "race" is not just good for you... it's good for Alaska too. All of the money raised goes to Alaskan charities. If you are inclined to gather a team together, and you raise a minimum of $500, your team can designate the non-profit charity that recieves that donation.
This "race" is also known as "the graze to raise" or the "5K buffet" because local restaurants and organizations contribute by putting up tables of goodies along the race course. The race ends at a big tent on the park strip (where it started) that features music, kids games/activities, and door prizes. The kicker is that, being a visitor Industry event, the prizes are air tickets, cruises, resort stays, and other diamond level treasures.
The minimum donation to participate is:
$30.00 per Adult
$15.00 per Child (5 to 18 years of age)
