St. Patrick's Day
People are getting ready for a night out. It's St. Patrick's Day, otherwise known as, "An Excuse to Party-on." We don't have to count on St. Pat to drive snakes out of Alaska, because we have none. But that doesn't mean we don't appreciate him. In Anchorage, one of the more obvious spots to hit this evening is McGinley's. They'll be playing Irish and Scottish tunes (live) all weekend with Irish dancers kicking up their heels. Their website promises a "sing-along, " which I'm sure is a gas after a few beers. Especially considering that only a few will really know the WHOLE song. (They have lyric sheets for those who need them). McGinley's is on the corner of 7th and G Street, downtown.
