Intuitions Day Spa and Salon
"Intuitions" is in South Anchorage. Their beautiful sparkling facility is crisp and inviting. I spent an evening with friend's back in the pedicure area. We all sat back with a glass of wine (which we brought ourselves) in our vibrating heated chairs while we were rubbed, sea salt scrubbed, and our toenails painted pretty pinks, purples and reds. I can't think of a better girlie evening... wine, chit-chat, and bright shiny toenails.
Intuitions offers private parties in addition to their regular services. You can book out sections of the salon, or the whole thing. In addition to spa pedicures and manicures, they offer hair color, cuts and styles, body treatments (tanning, detox, massage, hot stones, and water) and facials. They even have a special room for couples massage treatments.
