"Blue's Traveler" at the Bear Tooth
The first thing I think of when I hear that name is "harmonica." John Popper is playing at the Bear Tooth Theatre Pub to a sold out crowd on New Year's Eve starting at 7:00 PM. The Bear Tooth is a movie theatre that usually plays second run movies on the cheap. The bonus is that you can buy a glass of wine and bring it to your table in the theatre… that is, if you got there early enough to score a table. They have carved a new name for themselves in the past year or two by bringing big name and alternative musical guests to Anchorage. In the summer they put up and outdoor stage. It is all the rage. I'm sure their New Year's party will bring down the house!
