Visit Singapore's last kampong (village) before it disappears



When Singapore was still a fishing village - some say it was Malay, some say it was Javanese, some say it was part of the Majapahit empire - people lived in kampongs (Malay/Indonesian word for village) consisting of one-story houses made from either wood or bricks and covered with aluminium sheets or leaves from the coconut tree.

Launch party of Electrico's We Satellites album



Singapore's homegrown band Electrico has released a new album titled We Satellites. To celebrate this, there will be a party launch an exhibition of shots of the band on tour, taken by Lomography enthusiasts.

The party at the Lomographic Embassy of Singapore, 12A Liang Seah Street begins at 7.30pm on Thursday August 21, while the exhibition will run from August 22 to October 6 at the same venue.
