Personally, I am big on live bands that play interactive sets, have a repertoire of popular Indies’ or popular tunes (I'm a child of the 80s!), or just have very entertaining front persons.
The eventual quality of the singing does not really bother me much as long as the singer can carry the tune fairly well; after all, we are not speaking of a jazz singer in a posh jazz lounge!
