Singapore hosts first night Formula 1 race, Sept 26 to 28

Be part of history by attending the first night race of Formula 1 racing, to be held in Singapore on the weekend of September 26 to 28.

Talk of a Formula 1 race in Singapore has been making its rounds since as early as 2002, and last year it was finally announced that the island city has become a new racing venue for 2008, with a night race! Obviously, a night race would mean that fans in Europe, UK and some American states can watch the action during the day

According to this report published today on Channelnewsasia.com, "The only (tickets) left are those that cost US$1,800 and there are only less than 100 of them (available)."

This is an exciting event for Singapore, and this momentous event will be recorded in the short history of the nation. Marking this achievement are fringe events such as the Singapore River Festival and the Singapore Biennale.
