SEAVIEW

It is said that the largest Mac Donald's in the world in located on the beach at Seaview, Karachi. I've been there and it sits right at the shores edge. From here you can see the huge tower of water that shoots up into the sky from an island rock.

And on certain holidays you can watch fireworks that color the night at the ocean's edge.

Not far down the beach there is camel riding and on the other end there are polo matches on the sand.

Did you know that the great horse game "polo" was invented in the high mountains of Pakistan? Well, here in Karachi, they play it on the beaches and the horses are some of the most outstanding creatures on the planet. Their riders are mostly made up of tall muscular Patans. They are the famous tribal men who have since Alexander The Great ruled the northern frontier.

Having a Big Mac or a Mac Arabian sandwich and watching polo twenty feet in front of you is something you won't forget. And the pictures you take home to show your friends will be the envy of your community.

That mcdonalds at sea view is definitely not the largest, i have seen enough of them worldwide to know that. Further I have never seen polo being played at sea view karachi.. but u certainly get some really weak looking horses which you can rent for a bit. And that huge tower of water or the karachi municipal corp. fountain which was supposedly the tallest in the world and had costed around 32mi Rupees was recently stolen.

that mcdonalds at seaview, it may not be the largest, but for sure it is one of the largest in the world.

and saad i m one of the players who play religiously every alternate week (coz almost every other week the sea is on the low tied and thts wen we get to play there) right in front of that mcdonalds, as there is no facility in our city to play polo.

you are right there are horses which you can rent, which are owned by some poor ppl who make a living out of them and who can barely afford to feed there families.

you seem to be quite disgusted with karachi my friend, but our city aint tht bad.
