Only Parathas on the Bandra Linking road is a good place to taste authentic Punjabi cuisine. But there is nothing special about ambience of the restaurant that opens at 12:00 PM. The tables designed for two guests are very small. The major USP of the brightly-lit eatery is its food. Try Punjabi dahi curry with rice, assorted paratha, chats, gulab jamun and fresh juices. A meal for two would cost ...

On April 15, 2007, the centenary of the Matheran Light Railway was celebrated with fanfare. The 1917-built B-class steam locomotive pulls the six-coach train, connecting Mumbai with Matheran, at the speed of 12 miles / hour. The railway has been included in the first world heritage list of UNESCO.
Matheran, near Mumbai, is a fine example of eco-tourism destination. Beyond Aman Lodge railway station and Dasturi Point, no vehicles are ...

If you love experimenting with food, try Gypsy Corner near Shivaji Park for Maharastrian food. But do not anticipate a great ambience. It is a narrow and functional eatery with courteous staff. Food is reasonably priced. For instance, tandalachi bhakari (Indian rice bread) with bharleli vangi (stuffed aubergine /egg plant) costs INR 65/-.
Its Madras Kitchen serves well prepared idli, dosa and uttapam. Gypsy is one of the few restaurants which ...

This multi-cuisine vegetarian restaurant is located in Mumbai's very popular area, Prabhadevi- known for the most visited landmark of the city, Sidhivinayak Temple. The menu has Gujju, Italian, Mexican and Thai delicacies. Its combo meals are worth trying. Though well cooked food tastes good, limited variety could turn customers off. At least four-five times, I ordered Ghar-ka-khana combo meal (INR 95/-) in two months. To my disappointment, every time same ...
